On this page you will find links to the presentation boards that made up the live exhibition in Penzance on Thursday 19th January.

It is divided into five sections followed by a feedback form.

Although the official period of consultation is over, please do tell us what you think about the plans – your comments will be invaluable in helping us create a resource that really benefits the community in Penzance and more widely in Cornwall.

Please help us by giving some feedback about things you have seen here, including any ideas you have for developing the building and the activities that will take place in it. The questions are offered to encourage you to comment, but please feel free to say anything you’d like to say in any part of the form.

This form is anonymous and you don’t have to give any personal details. However, if you have a special interest in the project (for example, if you are professionally or personally involved in some aspect of MusicAbility’s work or are in some way involved in sustainable building or heritage restoration) then please do leave your name and a short description of your area of expertise or interest. Please comment on our ideas and initial design concept of the proposed extension to the building incorporating a new public-facing entrance. What should be the priorities/considerations for disabled access and for those people with mobility issues?

Heritage: How important is it for the project team to retain the historic features and original detailing of this building, to preserve its heritage? Do you have any views on how the project team should incorporate the historic features of the building in a modern-day facility? Originally the building would have been rendered – should it be returned to this?
