Location: Penzance
Commitment and remuneration: 60 days between April 2024 and March 2025 – average of 1.5 days for 40 weeks but probably weighted towards Spring/Summer 2024. Self-employed £15-£20 hour depending on experience. Flexible hours.

Job Outline: The project coordinator is an administrative position supporting the development of MusicAbility Centre, including the sympathetic and sustainable conversion of a fine and historic building into a vibrant centre of music in Penzance. This will include the stages of tendering for an architect and bringing the project forward to building phase. The project coordinator could have an existing interest in heritage and architecture but this is not a requirement. Work will involve web based research, report writing, networking and communicating, working with the CEO to support the vision of a motivated and inspired team of experienced charity trustees. The project coordinator will be expected to represent and advocate for MusicAbility Foundation.
Key abilities:
- Well organised and methodical with good finishing skills;
- Responsible attitude and effective communicator;
- Ready to use initiative to help deal with problems and be able to work reliably under pressure.
- Computer based skills include report writing and spreadsheet creation. Some knowledge of working with Mailchimp and WordPress would be useful.
